This is Gavin Newsom, the Governor of California - Democrat (the picture is for my overseas readers who may not know him by sight).
It has been posited, that may Gavin Newsome can “save” the Democratic Party by him being substituted for Joe Biden. (See here - bottom of article)
We will be taking a look at his individual chart, his chart against the eclipse (8 April, 2024) and finally his chart on Election night (5 November, 2024).
This is the individual natal chart:
House System: Whole Signs
To start, Gavin is a Sun Libra and he has a Virgo rising.
Looking at the houses and planets contained:
1st house - Venus 5°, Uranus 12°, Pluto 15°, ASC 21° all in Virgo (usually a 1st house Venus embues the individual with good looks and Pluto in the 1st can make an individual strong-willed, determined, having a powerful presence. If you’ve never seen him speak/debate - you can see this planet in action.) See video here
2nd house - Sun 17°, Mercury 13°, Libra
3rd house - Neptune 16° Scorpio
4th house - Moon 12°, IC 20°, South Node (SN) 25° all in Sagittarius
6th house - Saturn Rx 28° Aquarius

Gavin has some pretty difficult aspects, but usually this “works itself out” with age - as the individual gets older they better learn how to use/handle the energy of squares and oppositions. I say usually, because sometimes old habits are hard to break.
He is very polished and serious when it comes to his career - almost like the movie stars of old and the way their careers were carefully managed. I believe that his love/sex life holds many contradictions or at least it contains some confusing interactions within his personal life. (Neptune in the 3rd ruling the DSC in Pisces, 7th house.)
FYI:
His first wife was Kimberly Guilfoyle, whom he married in 2001 but divorced in 2005 - not made final until 2008 - when it was discovered that Gavin was having an affair with the wife of his campaign manager during his bid for lieutenant governor. The name Kimberly Guilfoyle should ring a bell for you - she was once a Fox News host and is now married to Donald Trump, Jr.
He was governor back when Kamala Harris was the California State Prosecutor so they have history. Interestingly, whenever I’ve heard him speak of Kamala - it was never in a “glowing manner” - just a very staid, professional manner. He never used words like “she’s fantastic or she’s very skilled” but rather “she’s great or she’s good” so this leads me to believe that there’s some conflict/history between the two that isn’t too cool. And when I’ve seen him/her give news conferences together, the body language was “off” somehow.
Both Gavin and Kamala have a 12th house Mars, which can sometimes manifest itself as not being able to get along well with others.
Let’s look at his chart at the time of the eclipse:
Here again we see that this is an Aries eclipse - ruled by Mars - this eclipse will pull in his 12th house of secret enemies, karma and hidden ways you can sabotage yourself but his 12th house is activated. It will be opposing his 2nd house of values and value systems - which contain his natal Sun and Mercury, and by transit - conjuncts SN and the IC in Libra. It almost looks as though the chart is saying “he wouldn’t touch the Presidency with a 10 feet pole” or even go near it. Not only that, but Mercury is Rx at the time of the eclipse and the NN by transit opposes his natal Sun - literally saying “this not the way/what you should do”. The Mercury Rx might be saying “don’t speak on the subject - at this time.”
He is under the Uranus-Jupiter conjunction with Jupiter Rx 25° Taurus across his 9th house. This could possibly be that he advises on the situation or gives some type of advice on how to defeat 45. Then too, Jupiter rules his 4th house Sagittarius where we find natal Moon, IC, SN - which quite possibly indicate, that he will give advice because he wants to help (benevolence) and looking at these charts right now, I don’t see that his “heart really is in being President”. However, he probably does/have been a huge fund raiser for Biden.
Looking at his 11th house of friends/followers - by transit he has the ASC there and to me that indicates “he would better serve the state of California” or at least some of his supporters think this to be true. But…
Mayhap, the time has not come just yet.
Newson & The Election Chart:
From all that I know of Gavin Newsom - right now - he is the Defacto Surrogate for Joe Biden. He’s taken a tour of Red States attempting to make the case the Biden Administration. Biden has lost support from many of key demographics and for various reasons - the Israel-Gaza war, some of the Black population, women, etc.
When I look at his chart against the election chart - Newsom could win the presidency. *If this is the case* - something changes for/with him either around the eclispe or the time of election.
He has transiting 12th house MC - which could mean that his priorities change - he becomes more “open” to the idea of being President. Along with his 12th house Mars in Leo could mean speed, heat, fight - marching forward and coming from behind. The 3rd house conjunction of Neptune 16° Scorpio and transiting ASC 16° Scorpio could mean the realization that Biden may not be able to carry the country forward and he (Gavin) will have to step in.
Transiting Moon 28°and Venus 22° Sagittarius could mean that his values/value systems have finally “caught up to his heart” especially where it relates to city/state/home/homeland - like a “now or never” kind of thing. Then he has transiting IC 25° conjuncting his natal DSC *and* his natal Saturn Rx 28°- all in Aquarius- like he has to “make a move -literally”. Transiting Saturn 12° Pisces and transiting Neptune 27° both conjuncting his natal DSC 21° Pisces - as if “it might be confusing but I will do the hard work and ground it, make it real”.
9th house transits of Uranus 25° and transitng DSC 16° conjunct natal Jupiter Rx 25° could mean he’s “coming to restore some semblance of order to law, basing his policies on what he feels is “right and just” for the American people.
10th house transiting Jupiter 20° conjuncting the natal MC 20° and natal NN 25° Gemini - looks like a possible win to me.
Newsom is the ONLY guy - I feel - that could face 45 and win. But it depends on what happens with Biden. Does he suffer a health crises or just finally decides to step down and appoint Newsom? There is precedent for it happening, you know.
Many of you won’t remember this but - on 9 August 1974, Richard Nixon was forced to resign due to Watergate scandal and in so doing, he selected Gerald R. Ford to become his successor. He was first nominated as Vice President by Nixon, where Ford then ascended to the Presidency upon Nixon’s resignation.
Nixon Picks Ford and Timeline of Events
It is possible.
Backtrack: Remember when I said “Kamala Harris not going anywhere - literally” because I didn’t see any transits to her DSC? Well what if that means that if Biden steps down and chooses Newsom as his successor, he keeps Harris as VP?
The only other scenario that I can think of where Jessica’s prediction happens is Biden chooses Harris as successor to fill the seat, BUT she has be voted on by the Congress to become President. Which would be a very dicey prospect. If it came down to Electoral College or General election - she wouldn’t pass muster.
On second thought - I don’t think she could win. I feel that Harris would be asked to step aside. as Newsom could energize the Democratic Base.
