Before I start on the Taurean Full Moon, I’d like to begin with some planetary movements going into December:
Planetary Movements
Venus enters Capricorn 11 November - 7 December. This is right before the Taurus Full Moon and will be a 3+ week transit. Because it’s Venus, it can be a time in which can take a serious, mature look at our creative endeavors, finances and relationships, with an eye to make a commitment (or renew a commitment) and work hard at whatever is important to us. We can be willing to see whatever we begin through to its completion.
15 November - Saturn ends its 5 month annual retrograde and starts to move forward again and as it picks up speed, we may feel ready to take responsible actions either with our work/career or other practical goals. Unlike when he is retrograde, we don’t usually face as many challenges and obstacles when he is in direct motion. Any rules/boundaries or restrictions that can be implemented will help bring order out of chaos and means that progress usually comes more easily.
After 16 years of Pluto in Capricorn, Pluto moves into Aquarius 19 November. He will stay domiciled there for the next 20 years (2044). The bigger picture: the last time Pluto was in Aquarius was roughly 248 years ago - between 1778-1798. This time period coincided with events like the Boston Tea Party which led to the American Revolution and the French Revolution. It was also the beginning of the Industrial Revolution. In this century Pluto in Aquarius will likely bring transformation in Aquarian topics, such as individual sovereignty, society, technology and even metaphysics such as astrology.
21 November - 21 December, the Sun finally moves from Scorpio into Sagittarius. At this time of year, we are typically more willing to take an adventure to see where the road takes us. Physically or mentally, we may seek increased knowledge or want to expand our understanding. We may wish to bring along, optimism, a sense of humor and cheerfulness due to more lighter energy. However, we should be careful about imposing our beliefs concerning “what is right” on other people. Sagittarius can be a bit blunt at times when sharing “their truths”, so we need to take a breath before speaking. Remember, each person has a right to their own viewpoints, beliefs and value - whether you agree with them or not. Just because these may radically differ from your own, afford Grace.
Mercury will enter the final retrograde of this year from 25 November - 15 December (which is great because I totally dislike when Mercury is acting up over Christmas). But he is acting up rather close to Christmas. Astrology rules apply here - double check any travel plans you may have and check and backup any important documents. You should know the drill by now. Just remember to bring your patience, flexibility and good humor into any situation. This retrograde is happening in Sagittarius and if we can tap into its energy, then it can help us navigate this period with optimism and maybe a few laughs.
This 3 week period may have us reflecting on our values, beliefs and principles.
***Note: I feel this is vitally important period as I have seen people behaving badly to their parents, friends and neighbors because of the outcome of the election. Folks are not speaking to relatives, uninvited them for holiday dinners, are refusing to financially assist elderly parents or agree to help with medication. All of this because they voted differently than you thought they should.
May be, the problem is NOT really them, but YOU. When you act out of fear, anger, hate and cruelty - you become the very thing/person that you dislike.
I respectfully ask, that if any of you are behaving in this manner - get a hold of yourself. SNAP OUT OF IT. It’s not the end of the world, so stop acting selfishly as if it is. Life is too short to cut dear loved ones out of it.
My father once gave me some of the most sage advice ever: “When in polite society, do not talk about sex, religion nor politics. That makes for a more pleasant gathering.” /end Note***
Taurus Full Moon Highlights
We cannot separate the Taurus Full Moon for its exact conjunction with Uranus (and the exact opposition to the Sun). This configuration can be energizing, exciting and problematic. Taurus is focused on safety and security - which comes through having things feeling predictable and in control. Uranus is diametrically opposed to all of Taurus’ wishes. Uranus BRINGS UNEXPECTED CHANGES. His purpose being to shake things up, get us to look at things in a new way and in this - ultimately move to the next level in our evolution. See, the Universe knows that if things stay the same, we do not grow at Soul level.
This time of the Taurus Full Moon, we may feel as if our sense of security is under threat or being undermined, but the goal is to increase our ability to be authentic and feel alive. But in order to do so, we need to surrender the moment, the process - even if it means letting go of the vision of how things should have happened.
Now go back and read my note I previously wrote above. Because if you are feeling a bit insecure, what about those parents, siblings, friends and neighbors whom you have exiled?
Until next time. Be Good to Yourselves.

PS I’ll Have to keep a lid on my emotions I 🤔 ….
My grandparents were big on proper etiquette. No discussions of religion, pay, or politics in broader society. I wish we could get back to that.
