This Thursday, 25 January the Moon will be in Leo opposite the Sun in Aquarius.
Where these two signs fall in your natal are the houses which may be most impacted by this Full Moon transit. If you have any points/planets at 5°14’ of either Aquarius or Leo you want to pay close attention.
The influence of a Full Moon lasts approximately 3 days before to 3 days after it’s occurrence and Full Moons are always an opportunity evaluate if we are balancing the qualities of the two signs in our lives - or not.
Aquarius - the higher expression of this sign includes: Being independent, social, tolerant, intuitive, humanistic and/or inventive. The lower expression includes - feeling overly responsible for everyone and everything, rebellious, stubborn and/or eccentric.
Leo: the higher expression of this sign includes: Being romantic, loyal, having self-confidence, being big-hearted and/or generous. The lower expression can include - being too self-centered, overly dramatic and/or exhibiting attention seeking behavior.
As mentioned in the last Moon Report post, Tuesday 23 January, Venus has entered Capricorn for approximately 3 weeks (until 16 February) and you may find occasion to take very serious consideration of what you deem is important in your life - for example - relationships/partnerships (both personal and professional) and both financial and creative endeavors. This could have you either making some important decisions and/or firm commitments as to where and how your invest your time and energy. For some of you, you might decide that it’s time to “cut your losses” and move in a particular direction, but be warned - the Full Moon is not the time to make those hard, fast decisions. Wait until after the Full Moon because this is a highly emotional time.
This may all feel very daunting - trying to find the balance between Sun in Aquarius - the “We are all One” energy and the “I need to be recognized for my personal abilities and gifts” of the Leo Full Moon, but no matter which direction you may choose to travel, Venus in Capricorn means we’re more likely to move ahead in a level-headed manner, find the strength (Leo) to express our feelings in a serious way, as well as finding the patience when needed.
A Few Astrological Aspects to Watch Out For
On 20 January, Pluto moved into Aquarius where it was conjunct the Sun and with these two being so close together, it means that the Sun’s light is shining brightly on Pluto’s issues. This could mean that some hidden information could be revealed.
With the Sun-Pluto conjunction this means the both bodies are in opposition to the Leo Full Moon, which could bring up some very complicated feelings - it may even reveal a truth we need to hear. But worry not, as this could simply indicate that some changes are needed. But do however, keep in mind that any adjustments may not be easy or comfortable - there may be a feeling of dissatisfaction or feeling stuck/trapped. It could also manifest as feeling that something is “wrong or off” for some time and we’ve tried to ignore it.
We need to remember that Pluto’s goal is to reveal what is needed for transformation and healing, especially when it comes to the effective use of our own personal power.
Uranus
Uranus completes it retrograde phase Saturday, 27 January and begins its direct motion so that means any changes we may have been contemplating over these past few months begin to gain traction. Although some hard work may be/may have been involved, take advantage of the forward momentum because once Uranus makes this important directional change, all 10 of the planets in our solar system will be in direct movement at the same time. This is pretty rare. Like I said in the previous post - It’s like receiving a Big Green Go Light From the Universe!
Until Then..Remember To Be Good To Yourselves.
