I believe that everyone has the potential to be able to read cards but think it would all depend on the individual person truly having an interest.
It requires a lot of research - card meanings, symbolism, history, etc. Some either do not or cannot wish to learn in depth about the cards - either giving standard white book interpretations. Then you have those who will ask lots of questions and then regurgitate what’s been said as a means of pretending to read the cards.
There are many unscrupulous people in the tarot business which is why I always give warning about who you allow to muck about in your spiritual business.
I believe that every person has some sort of psychic ability - more pronounced in others - but we all have the ability.
Learning how to sharpen the ability that you possess requires that you engage with the ability. Meditation is key. If you put in the practice. I can take 8 deep breaths and enter a trance state. Took me some time to reach that speed, but it is well worth it.
If you are wanting to develop your own intuition, the first thing I will say is: Don’t Be AFRAID. Intuition is as natural as breathing. Take it 3 minutes at a time and pretty soon, you can develop the skill and speed of entering into trance state.
