My newsletter for this week comes a bit late. We here in America were celebrating Thanksgiving a few days ago and I never work on holidays. But too - I had a water pipe break under my house! And have not had a hot shower since 22 November. My plumber Tom who is from Poland, came to my rescue yesterday and has made life good for me again :)
Now - In today’s newsletter we will be looking at a card that I pulled on 23 November - The Chariot. Normally when I pull cards to write about, I will let them sit a bit and meditate on what messages might wish to come forth and in this instance, what came through was about the holiday travel here in America for the Thanksgiving holiday.
If you are reading this and do not live in America, I can promise you that there will be still me messages contained therein for you.
Normally, when The Chariot card appears it deals with not only actual journeys but spiritual journeys. Travel, control, success, completion, mastery, ambition, will and focus.
This time, when the card appeared - my Guides spoke to me distinctly of the upcoming holiday season - from Thanksgiving here in America to Christmas/Hanukkah/Eid/Bodhi day celebrations, right into the all the New Year Celebrations to come. But the card has “reversed” energy on it.
To be truthful - I have difficulty reading reversed cards - they just don’t speak to me. To tune into the reversed energy, I must rely on my intuitional senses. And what I felt coming off the card was bothersome.
What I was seeing was another outbreak of Covid-19, only this time, it would be something much more scarier than the previous outbreaks. LET’S STOP HERE. Because I do not wish to alarm, frighten or freak anyone out. And I had to think long and hard about writing the messages because I do not want to be perceived as being someone who deals in fear. But as Astrologer Jessica Adams has repeatedly shared with me about this kind of work - THERE IS A DUTY TO WARN.
Months back on my YouTube channel - I was warning folks about the vaccine hesitancy; that many parts of the world have extremely low rates due to the unavailability of the medicines. I also warned that “Winter Was Coming” and that there would come a time, that if we as humankind did not really stop to consider others, there would be a virus strain that would evade antibotics and vaccines.
A few days ago, I heard the news that a new covid strain has indeed presented itself. And what was thought be old is suddenly new again. Having just come through the Thanksgiving holiday, we are poised to round out 2021 with Christmas/New Year’s eve, and while there is may be much uncertainty as to what lies before us at the very beginning of 2022, we must continue to remind ourselves that the entire situation is just a collection of moments.
The card that I pulled on 23 November is the card of the week for 29 November - 5 December is aptly named: The Chariot and I will not be doing the standard “interpretational” writing, but instead giving messages from my Guides.
At first, this card is a simple representation of movement - speaking to travel in general. It represents the general energy of humankind being on the move at this time. Being a number 7, many of us are or have been questioning whether it is a good idea to travel or visit and “move around like before”. But the number 7 is also a number of self-doubt and self-questioning. I know that my daughter and I made the decision to not have or visit with family/friends for Thanksgiving feasting. But many decided it would be okay to do so and may now be uncertain if they made the correct choice.
The Chariot is a card about balance - so many people are trying to balance their need to be social against the right amount of distance. In this instance this would be about balancing the fear with the need to be rational and realistic, cowardly or courageous.
The sphinxes in this card represent the opposing forces within each of us and speak to the need for mastery in balance.
Being social creatures and with time as it is now, this is creating riffs within relationships and many are struggling in the dating world. This message comes through the Yoni symbol located on the front of the chariot and speaks to the need for union - the joining of masculine and feminine energies, but also the need for companionship.
It is an image that speaks to our inner-conflicts and struggles between the various parts of our own personalities. We experience many different thoughts, emotions and feelings which can pull us in many different directions. But we must remember that withouth conflict, we would never be induced to make changes in our lives. Without conflicts we would never risk the challenge of moving onwards and upwards to a “higher level of life”.
The message that comes across most strongly with this card is that The Chariot never accepts defeat - even through the most trying of circumstances. The Chariot is a message about the positive sides of self, balancing conflicting emotions, having self control and being disciplined to see the moment through. It is about triumphing over obstacles throught sustained efforts and attaining goals.
The 6 Degrees of Separation come in as a message that you are not alone and through knowing someone, who knows someone, who knows someone - challanges can be resolved, goals reached, obstacles overcome. You are not alone in whatever your conflict or struggle may be. There is an answer right around the corner from you, but you will need to be brave, strong and courageous to seek it out. You will need to master your emotions, thoughts, beliefs and uncertainty to take the risk. Once you identify the problem, things will progress and improve.
The final message is this: If you believe you are on the right path, then allow no one nor anything to deter you. This especially includes yourself - don’t self-sabotage or lose heart, for when you employ all the powers at your disposal success and victory can be achieved - no matter what area of life might be vexing you at the moment.
My hope is that someone will find this useful and maybe even comforting.
