The Surrogates and the 2024 Presidential Race

Can Uncle Joe be bailed out?

This will be rather hastily written article because I’m writing on the fly. It is my take on a possible Newsom/Harris OR Harris/Newsom Democratic ticket.

I can not begin this article without first mentioning the “elephant in the room” and that is Joe Biden’s performance in last night’s first debate with 45. I won’t call it abysmal, but it was pretty bad. Everyone is talking about his performance almost to the exclusion of the battering-ram rate of lies coming from 45’s mouth. Indeed, all 45 needed to do was stand there and let Biden talk.

I have heard the Spin Doctors say Biden had a cold as if that was the reason for his poor performance. Listening to other surrogates/spin doctors - they are simply saying that Biden “had a bad night”. They keep saying that he has a passionate “need” to beat 45 - which may be true, but “passionate need” doesn’t win elections.

Back in March, I wrote about the 8 April 2024 Solar Eclipse passing over his 12th house (Sagittarius Sun) and his natal Mercury in Sagittarius and that he has a10th house MC in Virgo (work/body connection) and that we might see/hear of some type of health issue which would affect both the Office of the Presidency and his physical body. Anybody who reads Jessica Adams Astrology knows that eclipses can hide things from days-to-years after. So while I feel that Biden’s performance is not linked to his age - per se - but possibly a hidden health issue, possibly a mild stroke/series of small strokes. But I have been saying since the 2020 election, that I felt Joe Biden would not survive a second term. I take no joy in this prediction, but it is what I saw.

Let’s jump in to the possibilities:

The first thing I’d like every one to remember is how American Presidents are elected; they are not elected by the Popular/Peoples Vote but are elected by the Electoral College. Given this fact, America has NEVER been a “democracy” because the founding principals has never been about you and me - the little people. I will write another article on this to show you what I mean.

Next, we need to understand the meaning of the word surrogate:

Surrogate: a substitute, especially a person deputizing for another in a specific role or office.

Understanding these two things brings us to the people in question and how it may play out.

Newsom has been running a shadow campaign for Biden for at least 2 years. He is known as a “surrogate” for Biden. Harris is also a surrogate in the she is the VP.

If the ticket becomes Harris/Gavin I feel it will work in that Harris will become the first minority/majority President in the history of the US. But here’s where I find issue. Harris was a disaster while running her own presidential campaign. The word about her campaign was that she could not make any decisions - in other words, she prevaricated a lot. There was a major shakeup in her campaign offices, with a lot people quitting, stories of the nepotism that existed and the stories that she was hard to get along with.

Personally I believe that she will not be up to the task and she won’t have the full backing of the Democratic Party. Contrary to popular belief, she’s not well liked among the Democratic leadership however, with Newsom on the ticket asVP, it could be a go. She won’t have to run an independent campaign and Newsom could help “steer” her on important political decisions. I am in no way saying she is incapable of making independent decisions but she has a track record on this point. And I don’t believe she could hold her own if it came to a debate with 45. She will make good points/counterpoints, like she did when she was in Congress but her speak is what I like to call “word salad”. As the surrogate for Biden she has gone out and given many speeches however, it was just a lot of words without really saying anything.

“Here’s a game plan: Biden replaces Harris with Newsom and then resigns,” both Biden and Harris could theoretically step aside before the election.

If the ticket is Newsom/Harris then I feel this would be a better combination. They have worked together before when Harris was Attorney General for California. I will mention something that I’ve said before because I have noticed it from her AG days - whenever I’ve seen them together - there is a very strange dynamic between the two of them. I can’t quite place what it is or what it stems from - but it is odd. I won’t venture to speculate on what this is.

If Newsom takes the top of the ticket - he is, in my opinion - a different, different type of political animal. What I mean by this he is “more different” that the usual political animal. To me he has all the attributes of a “psychopath” - handsome, charming, articulate, has dyslexia - smart but deadly. He gives off the vibes of smiling while he stabs you from the front with a well placed knife to your vital parts.

I feel this is what the country may need. I feel he can hold his own on the debate stage - he’s sharp and precise with policy, numbers, etc., Personally, I find him very disarming - his teeth are TOO white - I mean really, how many levels of white do you need?

I feel that the Democratic leadership will have more faith in him to do the job - defeating 45 - than they have in Harris. But either way - Harris/Newsom or Newsom/Harris I feel will be a winning combination.

Sidenote: somewhere I wrote (I don’t remember where) that the Biden-45 debate would look like two old uncles fighting at the family’s backyard bar-b-que. Last night, Hannah’s boyfriend walked into the house and remarked: “My Dad and I watched the debate and he said they looked like two old dudes fighting over how to cook the steaks.” The boyfriend then said: “I thought about you when my dad said that.”
