Trudeau could never and would never stay. His government will be defeated by a vote of non confidence whether he rescinds his resignation or not. This is not America, we have laws and the ability to administer them. Also, not only has Canada’s voters turned against him, many in his own party have turned on him. That in fact is what forced his resignation .
I did not mean to upset you with my statement on Trudeau and I’m ashamed to say that I know very little about Canadian politics however, you say his resignation is forced, but in reality - he has only verbalized his resignation.
I have a Canadian friend who has been keeping me apprised of the ongoing situation AND my friend has sent me several articles from the Canadian Press that all sound like they don’t believe Trudeau either.
I said what I said because of the sneaky, underhanded behavior that Trudeau announced his “resignation” even though it was reported that the papers on the podium from which he was supposed to read the speech, blew away right before he took the podium - so he winged it. Be that as it may - his manner , behavior and demeanor - all screamed to me that he was lying and only bidding time until he devised another plan.
French President Macron attempted to do something similar (@FrancesMauer can correct me if I’m wrong) and ended up sharing power with the far-right party.
My Canadian friend is worried about the US annexing Canada (which I don’t feel will happen) but the US can certainly co-opt the Canadian government. From the research I have done there are three main parties - Conservatives, who are poised to take over the government, Liberals (Trudeau’s party who from the look of things, don’t stand a snowball’s chance in hell) and the NDP which comes in third. The NDP and the Bloc Quèbècois all promised to take the Liberals down, but at this point it’s all just words.
No one believed me when I said that 47 could win presidency again. NO ONE. People argued with me and said it was not possible - then it happened. Every country in the world will undergo some type of fundamental change. We cannot stop it and we must be prepared.
I will post some things about Trudeau’s chart over in the chat section - I invite you to have look.
I wasn’t upset only concerned about misleading opinions. Don’t know where your friend is getting their info but by Canadian norms he’s resigned. Canadians don’t want him, his colleagues turned on him there’s no way back. He’s no trump. At best he’s a lightweight poseur.

The Coming of a Coup D’état - America First then the World will Follow
In the depths of the night, where the whispers grow loud,
A storm brews beneath the political cloud.
Project 2025, a vision so grand,
Crafted by elites with a treacherous hand.
Trump’s second term, a herald of might,
A billionaire’s dream, an unholy sight.
He aligns with the powerful, the corporate elite,
Foes of the people, whom they secretly greet.
But the people’s resolve is a force to behold,
Their passion and fury, a fire uncontrolled.
They rise with a purpose, their voices will roar,
They’ll take back the system, and settle the score.
In the streets of the cities, the call will ring clear,
The people united, casting off fear.
With the military loyal, the fight is begun,
A global revolt, like a rising sun.
The CEOs tremble, their power will wane,
Their empires crumbling, washed down the drain.
No longer the masters, no longer the kings,
Their wealth and their assets will be taken by wings.
For crimes of oppression, for tyranny’s lies,
They’ll answer in court, where no truth denies.
Politicians who aided, who fed at the trough,
Will find themselves shackled, their wealth washed off.
The revolution’s tide, it will not be contained,
From America’s heart, to the world unchained.
A coup d’état born of justice and fate,
The end of the era, of the corporate state.
Their downfall will echo in history’s pages,
As humanity rises from the cages.
The people will stand, the soldiers at their side,
For liberty’s banner, they’ll fight and they’ll guide.
Trump’s plan will falter, his power will break,
And justice for all, we shall soon undertake.
So watch as the world shifts, and the powerful fall,
For the people will rise and answer the call.
